Slideshow: Job Search Is Common Reason to Leave

Michigan’s private colleges and public universities have no trouble drawing students in. But those same schools are having a difficult time keeping recent graduates here. Landing jobs in Michigan hasn’t been easy – the class of 2009 faced one of the toughest job markets in the history of the state. But some argue landing a job right now anywhere in the country will be a challenge.

To see what young people think about the situation, the Generation Y Michigan team visited coffee shops in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor.
